General Community Outreach
Much of the impactful work we do in the community often happens behind the scenes. We may not regularly highlight these efforts on our page or specifically fundraise for them. However, the range of services we provide extends well beyond the big projects you see. Here’s a glimpse into the heart of our mission and the diverse services that make a real difference in people’s lives:
Providing after-school care for single moms so they can keep working and better provide for their kids.
Covering the cost of home repairs to create a healthy and safe living environment for families
Car repairs. If left unfixed, car repairs generally snowball into bigger problems, including tickets, loss of income, and general safety issues.
Mental health support by covering the cost of counseling
Helping single moms escape dangerous domestic situations
Special requests from school staff to help underprivileged students with specific needs
Help with funeral costs so families can focus on grieving rather than how they’re going to pay for it
And so much more…
No two families' needs are the same, and the service we offer should reflect that. With all your generous donations to the general fund, we are able to walk alongside families in whatever season of life they might find themselves in and help them with specific needs unique to their own family and situation.

"First, I wanted to give my sincere thanks to you and 12:31 not only for the help that you have given to me and my child but for all that you guys do for our community. I have only lived in Lakeway for a little over 2 years. But it was always my goal to move here before my son started school simply because of the better education that he would receive in the Lake Travis school district, as a single mom, that came with a price. I found it hard to find resources for single mothers until 12:31 came along. I work long hours and didn’t know what I was going to do with my son until 6 pm during the week.
12:31 has allowed me to keep my job and work the hours needed to provide for my family by paying for extended care for my son. This may not seem like much to some, but it has been everything for my son and me. It has given me peace of mind to know that my son is safe while I am working. By the time I pick him up, his homework has been completed and he is so happy being able to be among other kids while I am working. You have made a huge impact on our lives and for that, I am grateful! Thank you, 12:31."
